Seasonal Changes
I feel so lucky to live in a place where I can watch the seasons change year after year.
My family live up north where there are really only two seasons - hot and humid and slightly less hot and humid.
But here I can delight in the change as the weeks go by.
Of the four seasons I am more full of bounce and life during the transitional ones.
And out of Autumn and Spring my favourite by far is Autumn.
The heat of Summer has gone, my garden puts on it's Autumn blooms, the trees put on their party dresses and I take great delight changing up my wardrobe, linen and decor.
I know snuggly nights are coming, but in the meantime I can still eat outdoors and quite frankly much more comfortably than in Summer. The mosquitos have disappeared until December and I can enjoy sipping wine on the deck without smelling like Aerogard.
Evening walks are possible without suffering heat exhaustion and it's fun to put on wellies and crunch through fallen leaves.
Yes Autumn bliss has arrived and my heart is full.

Lovely shots.
ReplyDeleteHere we are in that in between spot of winter and spring.
I know just what you mean -- that's the good part of living in Michigan, the seasons. (I wouldn't mind if winter was a bit shorter though!). Lovely photos, Deb. Thanks for coming by.
