The birth of Yolinda.
My man has a habit of making up names. Mostly ridiculous, but some rather funny, and I frequently change names three to four times a day. Usually I'm Mac-something, like Jarrod MacKrakken or Gerhkin MacCheese or Gustave Flaubert McSoufflebuch. On this day as we were walking the grown up pup, he declared that I had a new name. I immediately became weary.
"What", I said.
"Your new name", he said gesturing to nothing in particular, "is Yolinda"!
I already had my mouth open in protest but stopped mid "NO".
"N-ooooh I actually like that one". But I needed a surname as well.
"You are Yolinda Sczvasvashniak" he said snort-laughing.
I grinned, "I like it" I said.
Later at the shops my man again declared "You have a NEW......", but I stopped him mid gesture.
"No", I said. "I have a name, it's Yolinda".
And so Yolinda was born. She is me and I am her.
A woman of questionable talent and many passions, but who gets distracted rather too easily.
One might say she has not enough fingers and too many pies.

I love this, Yolinda!! ;) Looking forward to more. x0
